Introducing Gardener for a Day — AKA ‘Fluro Day’ - this is a super flexible, hands-on, friendly, full-service gardening and home maintenance experience brought to you by Fluro Gardens, proudly serving Maitland and the Hunter Valley region.
Perfect for busy homeowners, property investors, Airbnb hosts, or anyone with a long list of garden and outdoor tasks, this package gives you exclusive access to your own private gardener and property maintenance expert for a full day.

We focus on getting the jobs done right, not in a rush. We understand that most home owners and business loose track on what needs to be done and this can pile up over time. So think of this service as a ‘spring clean’ at anytime of the year!
What's Included;
You’ll have one highly experienced, fully equipped professional (that’s me!) working onsite for 8 to 10 hours on your property to tackle whatever jobs need doing. This can include a mix of garden care, yard maintenance, and general outdoor odd jobs.

Lawn mowing, edging & fertilising
Garden bed weeding and mulching
Hedge trimming & light pruning (trees under 3m)
Composting location advice and Bin Installation + step by step walk through

You’ll receive a confirmation and suggested job list via email - just number them from most needed done, to least
Once agree upon a date we can organise for any materials to be delivered to your address if needed
Fluro will show up, caffeinated, fully equipped and ready to go on your place!

A General ‘Fluro Day’ Looks Like this;
Turn up on site at 7.00am to meet with the owner before work - a walk through to make sure all is explained
1st task underway at 7.15am - 8.30am / Whipper Snipping, Edging and the Mower are 1st up
2nd item is garden bed weeding and mulch prep for upcoming spring season. Plants already purchased and planted in by Fluro before 10.30am
3rd on the list is replacing a leaky tap head. Item bought by Fluro and this is installed with existing soaker hose to be connected to Water Timer.
4th item is the hedging of the driveway shrubs - plenty to do before lunch and feeling the goods with the tunes on!
Quick break for ‘smoko’ at 12.00 - 12.20pm - Salad Sanga and a cuppa tea - no sugar thanks ;)
12.30pm we’re cleaning up the hedge trimmings and what doesn’t fit into the clients green bin, goes in the trailer.
1pm - We jump onto the pressure washer to clean up the drive way and path to the front of the house - good thing we fixed that tap!
3pm - 4pm is mulch spreading time. We picked up 6 bags for the client, so time to mulch all the fruit trees in time for winter.
4pm - a quick blow down of all areas, a few photos taken of completed tasks and we pop on the back sprinkler to water the fresh cut lawn.
Text sent to client with a selfie and a thumbs up! ‘Job’s done, and the back gate is closed shut!”
